i was going through the programs. i listened to a program called Marhaba by Fadi Matar, and is exceptionally hosted by Emilie Hasrooti. In this episode, they talk about Al Madina Festival in Tunisia. its a cultural and musical festival.
i loved the songs that were played in this episode. they were classy. u'll definitely never hear them in the crappy Dubai f.m. or Al arabeeya fm.

of course, if u dont like Majeda Al Roomi, skip the first bit of the prog. the second song is great, its by Sonia Mubarak who i never heard of" thanx to the great music that is played in Al Arabeeya FM".. the song is on 7min:48sec incase you wanted to skip.

then comes my all time favorite song, "ya rooh (roo7)" 26min:40sec and this time it was played by Tareq Al Naseri's band. i'll have to warn you that its not the best version. bas its ya roo7.. u know.

after this song there was an interview with a 12 yrs old iraqi singer Bilal Al Waseem, who has a really strong and promising voice.

Wow,, i'm attached,, already

i'm glued to my laptop watching videos of other people,, eventually i'm gonna start my own vlog.

vlogging is like blogging but in a video format. so, basically its taking videos of (ur life, thoughts, ideas, people around or whatever) and editing it "or not" and posting it in a blog or in a websites that has enough space to contain the video.

i'm still not sure how and where to upload the videos. "i'm still researching" bima3na "baseer wo ba6aale3 wo bas2al wo bachoof" (9a7 sushi roll? =p)

it's totally true that emaratee women is all about stock exchange. yesturday fi ejtmaa3 el 3aa2ela at my grandma's,, the main topic of my aunts discussion was stocks and how their freinds are getting ALOT of money out of it.. most of wht they said didn't make sense!! my aunt said tht her freind invested eb 5,000dhs and got profit 75,000dhs!!!! lazem el7reem ezeedoon shwayat mel7 fil ramseh =p
i hope tht women work on this professionally, not just gamble like many ppl do! although i doubt they do it with proper calculation..

in arabic or english ... it goes like this "lil estmraar bilu'3a el 3arabeya e'6'3a6 wa7ed" and so i did.
3ugub ma 5ayesoonee,, someone picked up and it was a lady "thts weird!!",, anyway, i was like

"mar7aba,, b'3ayt bas as2al 3an blah blah blah......etc." i took around 30 secs talking and explaining,,
after a long pause, she was like, with an indian accent
"do u speak english?",,
ya3ni el 7abeebah makaanat fahma sho agool kel hal muda,,
i was like "YESsss"..

our driver--

i never send the driver to get me something without giving him a written list of wht i need.. bas still he has his own ways to bug me and get estehbaalized... he goes to the supermarket, giv me a turbo missed call, u know the ones tht u can't catch a ring from... the mobil just tells u "1 missed call".. and our driver "mashala" is soo good he can give u 5
missed calls without a ring!

anyway, i call back and he will be like,
"u wanted me to get this and this and this.."
thinkdraw: "yes," ef 5a6ree "sho elmeshkelah al7een?"
and he just say, "okkay,, so i'm getting this and this and this.."
thinkdraw: "yes, thats wht i wrote in the paper.. "
and he'll say,, "okay, 5aalaa9, bye"

me against the Finance,, or not!!

its been ages since i thought abt doing something that has to do with maths!
every morning i wake up, hav coffee/tea,, log on the net, check my design "sources" just to see who did what and whats new in the art and design field. bas Not anymore "at least not this month", as i'm getting totally addicted with something called "STOCK EXCHANGE"... believe it ir not,, yeah u heard it,, stock exchange..... 3aad don't get waaayed impressed,, cuz i'm just playing the stock game 2005.. and the account am using is not mine "it's my bro's", cuz i'm not a student anymore!! so tough luck me... but wht the hell?!! am having hella o Fun.. i dont care if i win the grand prize or not..

3ad awal youm in the stock exchange,, my Finance Master "brother" gave me a brief explanation of wht's it all about. so, i was like... "hmmm am not sure if i can do this, bs i'll try" and he's like "dont worry, u just play with it,,, afterall i signed up bas cheeh,, wo 7agken 3ashan et3aleman "me and sister"" ..

so i logged in "stock exachange game database" and the profit balance was 135,000 ,, and after some minutes of buying and selling,, i check the profit and i saw 51,000 !!!!! i was like... WHAAAAT???!!! ooooh god,, i'm in trouble... of course everything is fake and its just a game,, but i was really ANGRY .... i had noo idea how tht happened!!!

anyway, tamaayt 3ala a39abee 5ams dgayg,, then i gradually re-gained all the money i lost and i made total of 159,000 dhs profit!!! hehehehahahahaa...
i've definantly learnt from my mistakes.. or else i still wouldn't know how to even buy/sell and make profit out of stocks.

i was soo happy and proud of myself, till my bro came and told me... "159,000 baas?!!!!" i was like ,,, "e7md rabk, mat3arf a9lan sho estwa... and i told him abt the 51,000.. plus i added 24,000 profit to your old profit balance" he was like "at least i didn't buy AMMAN stocks!!!"

*Amaan is a really stupid company that is on loss min fatra...

i bought Amman stocks "by mistake" and thts another story...

kesar 5a6ree shway, cuz he had a good rank before i invaded his stock portfolio.. bas inshala el ayam yayeh,, and i might make him win!!!

min kether ma ana kent excited, i called my cousin "who also studying finance" and asked her if i could also play the game using her account... wo hee wa7laylha ma maana3at.. in 2 hours , i was like a monkey from one account to another buying and selling stocks and checking both accounts if i'm making money or not...

anyway, i hav to relax and sleep now.. bacher 3indii sh'3el fil stock!! =p

i was planning to write a whole post abt this issue in my blog,, but didnt hav the time... i think taking pictures of money notes is really stupid.. it doesn't make sense.. ya3ni if there is no story behind it,, laish et76ooneh???.. it makes sense if ppl took pic of an object and talked about it,, its specifications/ features/ how to's... etc
